Having spent many years developing and maintaining websites, we started getting support requests from clients.
“My website is slow, can you fix it?”
“Our website isn’t appearing on Google, is there anything you can do?”
“I’ve just updated a WordPress plugin and now my website is showing an error – HELP!”
“I updated WordPress to the latest version and now my website has died and I don’t have a backup – can you help?”

We realised that there are a lot of small businesses out there who have websites and just don’t know where to turn when things don’t quite go according to plan.
The original web developer is too busy or really only interested in the creative stuff.
The web hosting company will only support hosting issues and for those that do offer other services, they’ll likely charge an arm & a leg!

That is why we started The Web Support Crew.
Our mission is to provide an  affordable, comprehensive maintenance & support service so that you can get on with growing your business without the worry that customers might not be able to visit your website and find out about all of your wonderful products or services.

But wait!
Why stop at just support issues?  SME’s also have small updates for their websites and don’t know how to do them or don’t have the time.
So we’ve included web page updates to our packages as well.
Plus hosting, malware scanning and backups included, you really can leave it all to us and get on with all the other stuff.

The Web Support Crew was started in January 2022 by John Ballard and as a small business, we understand the importance of knowing who you’re working with and who to talk to when you have a question.
John has been developing websites since 2003 and mobile apps since 2012 and along the way, support & technical advice to literally hundreds of customers.
